Had a good nights sleep and only got up once for the toilet which coincided with my drip needing changing. 😊. Compared with last week, I slept until 7:15. Much better!
In regards to treatment – it has been a slow day. The fluid that are needed to help protect my kidneys was not ready, so I didn’t start that until gone 11:30. This then made me late for my increased dose of Venclyxto (Venetoclax).

And… When the time came for me to take my tablet, they could not find them! They chased the pharmacy and other places, only for them to be found in the place they should have been… I was informed this was down to sending a man to do a women’s job! However, I was informed by a male nurse sometime later that cloaked figure had sneaked in and returned the drugs to the cupboard, before vanishing without a trace! I am going with his story! 😁
On taking the tablet this time round all was fine again apart from the after taste, which even after a lot of water I could still taste.
The rest of the afternoon was spent sitting, reading and watching a film. This did wonders for my posterior! I did manage a walk to the toilet to relieve myself of some of the copious amounts of water I was consuming… And… I did manage to beat my step count from when I was here this time last week. I’ll claim it as a PB (personal best) albeit it was only 2,336 steps…
The evening was much the same as the afternoon, however the PREMIER LEAGUE was back and the Villa kicked of the proceeding. We didn’t lose which was a bonus. Anyway, off to bed. Night all.
